The first meeting to discuss your project is free. Based on your requirements for a particular project, I’ll draft a fixed fee proposal with a detailed list of the services that will be provided, along with the corresponding fees. I do my best to include everything in that fee right from the start so that extras are kept to a minimum. The only thing I don’t include in my fee is an amount for meetings past a specified number during design process and time for site visits. There is really no way to predict how many times you will need my input on site and this avoids my over or undercharging you. Any expenses I incur, such as printing drawings, are passed on at cost plus a 10% administration fee.

Because each project is different, my design fee will vary accordingly. Normally, the fee with the greatest variation is for drawings, depending on how many bathrooms you have and whether you require details for additional cabinetry or built-in millwork such as a butler’s pantry or wet bar. Styling services are estimated based on the size of home and timeline for completion of work.
