Designers
Tanya Schoenroth, BA, BADID
Principal Interior Designer
I am a trained Interior Designer based in Vancouver, BC with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from accredited Kwantlen Polytechnic University. I also have a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Western Ontario, which I like to think contributes to an excellent set of communication skills. I’ve worked in-house for two residential development companies in Vancouver (Polygon Homes & The Quigg Group). I started my business in 2005 and have been working with both development companies and private clients ever since.
Depending on the firm or individual, you’ll find designers tend to specialize in one area or another. My niche is in providing sourcing services, specification documents and detail drawings for residential projects. I have also put together exterior colour schemes for entire development projects, should that be something you require.
Because I’ve worked with a wide range of developers and clients, I’ve been exposed to varied products and budgets and have the experience to work within your individual parameters. I’m here to help you define your vision, within your budget – I’m not here to stamp my own style on your project. For developers, I take your marketing research and develop your spec to appeal to your target market and coordinate with your vision. For private residences, I’m here to help you define and execute a vision that leaves you living in a home that reflects you, your needs and your style.
I am the main contact for my company. I am fortunate to have several qualified colleagues whom I call upon to assist me when needed so that all my clients receive prompt, thorough service. With the exception of display suites and styling services, I am always the main conduit for information and communication. I will respond to your emails and phone calls promptly, within 24 hours at the very most, and I will be attentive when you do speak with me.
My goal is to guide you through your project with a minimum of stress and to help you to make choices that leave you feeling confident and excited during your project and after completion. I’m here to eliminate that feeling of overwhelm you encounter when you think about all the things involved in a construction project. My systematic approach ensures we cover all the details and infuse creativity along the way.
